Now planning for its 47th annual exhibition in 2026 Cumbria Local Arts Exhibition is truly a date for the diary of all artists living in Cumbria, and those who love original art while visiting the Lake District.
The exhibition is held in Grasmere Village Hall every year. Starting on Good Friday and finishing on the Sunday after Easter Sunday it maximises on the visitor influx into the Lake District over the Easter break.
There is no selection process, so the exhibition is truly a celebration of art in all forms and mediums, we have something for everybody and all tastes. We do however exclude photography and prints as these are covered by other exhibitions.
Last year we saw exhibits from renowned award winning professional artists alongside virtual beginners – a true celebration of the breadth and depth of creative talent in Cumbria.
